As an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) school, we emphasize college and career readiness through structured support systems, rigorous coursework, and critical thinking strategies. AVID is not just a program—it’s a mindset embedded across our classrooms to ensure all students are equipped with the tools they need to thrive in post-secondary education and beyond.

Our commitment to school-wide culture and student behavior is guided by PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports). Through PBIS, we promote respect, responsibility, and resilience—core values that shape how our students interact with others, persevere through challenges, and contribute to a positive school community. Recognizing and celebrating positive behavior is part of our daily routine, creating a campus where students feel safe, supported, and seen.

CCHS also offers a wide range of Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways designed to give students hands-on experience and real-world skills in areas such as health science, digital media, public safety, and more. These pathways allow students to explore their interests while earning certifications and gaining a competitive edge in today’s workforce.

In addition to academics and career preparation, we offer a robust athletics program that encourages teamwork, discipline, and school pride. Our student-athletes compete with heart and integrity, representing the Raven name with excellence across multiple sports. Whether on the field, in the gym, or in the stands, Raven pride runs deep.
